The Kagal Education Society was established in 1960 with the aim of developing and establishing educational institutes and providing medical services to the community. Under this trust, the Y.D. Mane Institute of Nursing was founded in 2008, initially offering the Auxiliary Nursing and Midwifery (ANM) program. Over the years, the institute expanded its academic offerings by introducing the General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) program in 2023 and the B.Sc. Nursing program in 2024.
A team of highly qualified and experienced faculty members meticulously plans and implements the nursing education curriculum. Classroom instruction is complemented by clinical training, where students gain in-depth knowledge of nursing and medical sciences through modern teaching techniques.
